In the last post I told you about some kantha quilts that would be arriving next month. Much to my surprise, they arrived in four days. Amazing, right?
Indian women stitch together layer upon layer of old saris and tossed-aside cloth scraps to create thin throws used as blankets and cushions. They have that vintage look that I love, and it's so fun to imagine the stories each sari could tell.
And what's even better? They look completely different on each side, so you can get very different looks depending on how you fold. Fabulous!!!
But I simply do not like the boho chic look. You can love it, we can still be friends, I just happen to hate it... which is funny because these gorgeous quilts are so at home in a boho chic room. If you're like me, check out these inspirational spaces.
Have I won you over yet? They're pretty great, right?!
In other news, there's a rumor circulating that you will soon be able to find me at Cheshire Cat. It's true (you could say the cat's out of the bag?!). February will be a big month. More on that later.
