In the last post I told you all about visioning and stuff. Making something from nothing, because fall is exciting. You don't need to re-read it... unless you want an AMAZING salad recipe. It's totally worth clicking back for the salad. I'll give you a minute.
This week I signed myself up for a house. Not to buy, because I'm not ready for that again. But I still am responsible for the yard, so it's a lot like owning. Practically the same thing. I'm going to have to hit up my plant-friends for help, specifically Nick Askew and Good Dirt.
Want to take a tour? It's still got the old tenant's stuff in it, because I stole these pictures from Craigslist. This is 3% creepy BUT it's also okay because a) they are moving out, b) they posted their own pictures to the public internets, c) y'all know I'm weird.
OKAY! The front door opens to the living room:
To the right of the living room is the dining room.
The dining room is open to the kitchen.
The kitchen and living room connect to a center hall WITH TWO CLOSETS. I think this hall might be my favorite part. Well. No. But one of my many favorite parts.
So if you're standing in the hall, with your back facing the living room, looking left to right, there are three bedrooms and a bathroom. The first bedroom is the smallest.
The next bedroom will be your room! The guest room...
Then my bedroom...
WHAT I COULD NOT TELL from stalking on the internet, but was delighted to see in real life... was this outdoor space...
I'm imagining something like this...
And hello! Fire pit! I'm on the hunt for some free/nearly free ADIRONDAK CHAIRS (plastic will do) if you know of any!
October 1st is move-in day and I'm beside myself with excitement. Like, BESIDE MYSELF. This fall is going to be the best ever!!!
